  1. The best way to make sure marketing gets done, is to have it set up in advance. Plan out your marketing for the whole year now. Decide what you are going to do and when.
  2. Set up your goals for this coming year.
  • # of loans?
  • average net per loan?
  • % of prospects converted to application?
  • % of application that close?
  • hours per week worked?

These are just a few of the main ones.

3. Then ask yourself what you will do differently to achieve your goals. You cannot expect business to get better if you do not do anything about it. Sorry, but waiting for the economy to get better is not going to work. Rates are going up. And they will keep going up. The economy is doing OK. If you want things to change, you must do the changing.

So what will you do differently?

  • Will you invest in more education?
  • Will you try 1, 2, 3, new marketing techniques?
  • Will you do all of the above?
